My first whale encounter is a memory I'll forever cherish and revisit in my dreams. The calf's limitless curiosity and playful spirit were on full display as it circled around us, twirling, and repeatedly drawing near, all under the watchful gaze of its mother. The sheer awe of an animal choosing to engage with you is an experience beyond words. I feel incredibly blessed to have had these encounters, a dream I've held close for so long, and it's nothing short of a dream come true. Thank you @davidtherod for capturing this moment

one of the guys i used to follow for surfing on flikr was removed/eliminated BUT it did not last too long....hes back on flikr under a different name but i recognized one of the photos plus i know his 'mo' so i immediately recognized it had to be him......good to see that....BY THE WAY I REALLY HAVENT NOTICED THAT DOWNLOADING LIMITATION TO ONLY SMALLER SIZES IE 1080 MAX PIXELS BEGINNING MAY 15TH....in most of my bookmarked flikr photographers i dont notice a change you can still get the bigger sized photos just like before...i did see one or two photographers that did have a max 1080 limit but i have seen those before with a few lone photographers; FEW AND FAR BETWEEN.....the vast majority i see NO DIFFERENCE; just like before...........SO FAR so good....BUT>>>WHO KNOWS whats next ????

creating an effect/illusion of 'walking on water' ... i have shown this in photos but heres a a very short 10 second:

she is totally under water; water has to be perfectly still almost a freshwater dive cave like effect this one is done in the sea; whats above her creates a shadow/reflection below and the camera light coming from across her creates a dividing line or 'water line' at around her feet and 'bounces' a reflection off of her almost shallow/mirror-like hence why water has to be perfectly still....i am not exactly sure but thats the gist of it

This was the best time of my life. I have ALWAYS desired the ice and snow, far more than tropical beaches. And going to the arctic circle was a big dream.
Thanks to the incredible @freediving.friendos and @freediving.family I got to dive in the ice. The beauty of this was next level. I experienced true stillness in a frozen world (it honestly felt time had stopped under the ice). It was raw and primal. Going from sauna to ice to sauna and back was wonderful! I felt the capability of my body and mind in a way I had not experienced before. A true joy. And because we couldn’t get enough, @dhyana_banana and I joined @paijanneontherocks for more diving. This time we got to dive at night. It was wild and I LOVED it. Arctic static challenge? Holding my breath in ice water ended up being much more enjoyable than I feared. And of course sauna is church and we were in service multiple times a day"

they advertise for men/boys as well same trip but they obviously split off the sexes at the location site

I still can’t get over this moment. If you haven’t seen this video yet (or even if you have) this was truly one of the most special encounters I’ve ever had in the wild.
Sea lions have always felt like soul animals to me but this day was different. She was curious, gentle, and so intentional with every dive. Usually it’s the pups that come play but this was an adolescent, bigger, stronger, and somehow even more tender. We did about 10 dives together. This is what it’s like when an animal chooses you. Don’t ever chase moments like this, they have to happen naturally. 100% guarantee you it was a MALE sea lion 'all over' her

i think the very 1st time i did a presentation i said something to the effect of if you buddy stops by the beach and asks you about your girlfriend....i would answer; 'HER ASS IS UP IN THE AIR'.....and you can see why that answer has more of a literal meaning to it

the last 49 was with a regular one that i trust.....some of the newer ones have a limit 5 or limit 20 and a very good one that produces x-tra large sized superquality thumbnails (no degradation) but you cant control the size of the thumbnail
