maybe offtopic here...but have you noticed how a lot of these celebs are all chopping off their hair? Now we see these pics with Jessie J with a man's haircut...I think Miley Cyrus sorta helped to re-inforce a bad trend with women thinking short hair looks good. At the Oscars a lot of the actresses, etc. had shorter hair, and one (I forgot who it was) came out with basically a complete copy of the Miley Cyrus short hairdo...and you heard some people in the front row laughing and she goes "what?" (like as if to say, what is so funny...dont you know short hair is in now?
People used to always complain back in the late 90's about how women were all cutting their hair short, and were like, "i don't understand why they do this..why do they do this?" Obviously men like long hair...how many of you dudes like women with short hair? It's like the late 90's now all over again..back when women had those short haircuts....long hair was totally out of style back then and it looked terrible. Like, if you watch Frazier reruns from those years, ALL of the "hot women" had hair that was never past shoulders..it was like universal. I went out on a date with a 20 yr old in like '97 (met off AOL of course) and she literally had pretty much a butch haircut...I was like...wtf? How could they think that looked good? It was like almost embarassing to be seen with her.
Long hair came back in finally in the 2000's (thanks mostly to the 80's retro stuff helping to bring it back) but now it looks like we're going back to the chop-off look again. ugh...
