Eh, not thrilled with the last second changes to the costume. I like that the boots are now red, but the new leggings are too bland. Ill agree the pvc was too much, but why they didn't just go with some nylon spandex... :(

Thanks staedtlerman, some good scenes there, but I can see why the programme was canned - the costume with the long pants is awful and the CGI is really really bad. Also, was there any Diana Prince and were there any transformation scenes or does Wonder Woman just appear? And I'm sure it would have been too much to ask for a blue diving suit?

It makes me so mad that they look after the superheros so well and treat the superheroines so badly. :x

I watched it on youtube before it got pulled and it was horrible, the final fight scene with the short costume was better though, I would like to see a clip of that lasso ragdoll on Liz Hurley again, that was hot. The overall show was sad though. How is the resolution of your copy?

Oh man am I pissed...

Why Killatron, why are you pissed?!

I saw the Wonder Woman pilot.

Was it that bad?!

No, it was actually pretty decent. I want to know what behind the scenes conspiracy took place to get this show pulled. With all the utter crap the networks put out, they somehow consider this unworthy of airing?! Wonder Woman's pilot was easily on par with early episodes from Buffy, Xena, and the recently concluded Smallville, all of which were successful shows. This series seriously deserved a shot at a full season. If ABC can approve shit like No Ordinary Family and The Nine Lives of Chloie King, surely there is room on on the airwaves for this. Note, I am not comparing the Wonder Woman pilot with either of those shows, it's simply an example of bad shows that already got green lighted for a whole season.

Sure, the new Wonder Woman is not perfect. The costume needs some work (more spandex, less PVC, but at least the shiny pants do make it into one scene, yay!), Wonder Woman should RARELY if ever kill anyone (she offs a guard in self defense, but still it was hardly life and death for her.), and the logo/font sucks. But those are SMALL gripes that are all easily fixed. I am not commenting about some of the issues with the effects because this is an unfinished screener, not a final episode. While this is may not be the most watched program on TV should it have been picked up, it would have certainly carved itself a market as big if not bigger than what Smallville had.

I can think of no better way to promote this show aside from showing it to what very well could be, the target audience. So for now, download away, password is tpowis
Wonder Woman Unaired Pilot - 967MB(uncompressed) 41m41s - Codecs: AVC-1, 1280x720 (16:9), progressive scan, 29.970 fps, MP3 audio
(if above link does not work manually put in this one:

Code: Select all

Note: While this is file is an MPEG4 720p (HD) format, I must say that the quality is decent, but is not broadcast HD quality. The reason for this is the odd format network screeners are distributed in. I recommend VLC Media player & modern PC for proper playback. You can download VLC here.

So, what do we do? The project is on ice, some of the actors likely disbanded. I think we can still give as much feedback as possible to networks like The CW in hopes they will pick up the series. They said previously that they were interested, but it was too expensive. Surely they can find a way to make it happen. Perhaps loose the flight scenes with her Jet (which is sorta meh anyway). Here is a link to the CW's feedback page. Fill it out and tell them you want them to pick up David E. Kelley's Wonder Woman series. Perhaps we can make a difference and make this show happen. This show could be a great example of what The Power of Women In Spandex is all about.

I saw the full episode TOO. I didn't think it was that bad? There is MUCH WORSE on TV and people watch it?

I apologize for calling it horrible I am a huge fan and would love nothing more than to see it on the air, I think they were still making changes and rushed an unfinished product into a pilot episode. My disapointment is more with NBC than anything, you would think a smaller network like space or scifi would jump on the potential of this.
