The Cuban Royal Palm grows from 40 to 60 feet tall and a beautiful crown of pinnate leaves sometimes over 20 feet diameter. they leave a unique imprint seeing them in a photo for me...it signals that a photo is taken in my subtropical climate...i havent posted photos from honduras and i think they cultivate them there for export to here and literally zero photos coming from cuba thats why i can quickly tell if a photo is from my area; 3 counties up north from here you are not in the subtropical climate and they dont do very well; besides not too many Cubans live in west palm beACH and points north ...EXILES BROUGHT / WANTED A LITTLE VISUAL REMINDER OF WHAT IT WAS LIKE BACK IN THEIR NOW COMMUNIST ISLAND...JUST TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA..THIS AREA [MY NEIGHBORHOOD PRIOR TO 1960; CONTAINS 430 +/- HOMES THERE WASNT A SINGLE CUBAN ORIGINAL OWNER ZERO FOR 430....NOW ITS LIKE 90+% CUBAN AND OTHER HISPANIC OWNERS-just one couple who bought a few months ago from NJ that i know of are anglosaxon i am sure there are more but i doubt you will find 20 out of the 430 +/- homes
