Yes, they are professional yoga trainers or acrobats. trained for years. That are not amateurs and you should not do this when not experienced!
However, you can do modified versions of some of these poses until you gain the strength and flexibility to do the full expression. Ashtanga also has six sequences that you would practice in order, starting with primary series, or Yoga Chikitsa (yoga therapy), then the intermediate series, or Nadi Shodhana (nerve clensing) followed by the four advanced series or Sthira Bhaga (steady strength).
