For those of you who don't know, this is taki:


She has been in a fighting game series called Soulcalibur for the past sixteen or so years. She is pretty much the "Chun Li" of the series. However, there is much uncertainty if she will be in the latest installment in the series. So she needs YOUR help. What can you do? You need to use your twitter account and tell Daishi Odashima that you want to see Taki as a fully playable character in Soulcalibur V. Don't worry if you can't speak Japanese, it doesn't matter. If she doesn't get enough support, art like this may no longer be created:

Now if you haven't played Soulcalibur IV, you really need to check it out. Taki's spandex in that game has the best shine of any in game spandex art done. Youtube hardly does her justice, but take a look:

There are very few female characters in games that actually love wearing spandex. Taki is most certainly one of them.

Also, continue to use this thread for both Taki discussion and sharing Taki media.

I always thaught Taki to be a fully covered japanese Baywatch sword fighter.

And though Ivy - Isabella Valentine - comes in SCV, she is by far more hotter than taki; short hair and bigguns

This really isn't about what girl in Soulcalibur is hotter, this is about spandex. Taki wears it, Ivy doesn't. Taki getting dropped is a crime against spandex lovers to some extent. The good news is, Soulcalibur V is doing horrible sales wise. Taki's removal had some influence on that, and hopefully it will teach Namco a lesson.

I don't think so. Again, the game is doing so horrible any DLC would be a total expansion... which she *might* be a part of. The best we can hope for is if the series continues at all, is that they get back to what made it great in the first place. (Taki, and her spandex)
