Wow, that is one shitty photo manipulation. Here is the REAL photo attached to this post. If that site is seriously endorsing that photo as legit...

If you look close you can see it at the gradation of the hair to the skin. The pixels of her face skin have another structure than the pixels of the decolletes. Its really not very professional.

Here is the REAL photo of Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow... Apparently one of those cases where they just think they need more detail.

So now that I got a good look at the new Black Widow costume for The Avengers and sadly, it's not nearly as nice as the Iron Man 2 variant. They seem to make it all some sort of rubbery leather now. Previously it had some real spandex mixed in with the other various materials. This new costume simply doesn't fit Scarlett's sexy curves nearly as well as the old one did.

Gah, the costume looks even WORSE in that photo, it just doesn't hug her figure at ALL. Such a shame, it looked awesome in Iron Man 2. I am going to go blame Joss Whedon on this one. Granted, I love the guy's girl power vibe he puts into everything he does (and I have hope that ScarJo will get a LOT of screen time in The Avengers) but damnit he can NOT dress his women! Buffy got some workout leggings from time to time, but they were drab cotton. He at least gave Zoey some form fitting pants with a natural waistline in Firefly. I was worried they would get further from the Black Widow concept in The Avengers and they certainly did. Why can't they leave well enough alone?! /rant

Also, SHL, you got a handful of not black widow on your black widow page there including some Eva Mendes from The Spirit. Which again (not to get off on another rant) I HATE it when they advertise a movie with a sexy costume like that and show it for like... TWO SECONDS in the movie?! False advertising, plain and simple.

I'm not a huge fan of this costume either. I even posted a youtube video showing how the costume should look. You guessed it figure hugging tight spandex.

Well, it may not be "Hollywood" that decided to go with the leather for Johansson's Black Widow costume. She may have balked at wearing spandex, and you know how self-conscious most women are about body image.

My whole point is the Iron Man 2 variant was far superior to this unflattering pleather suit they have in The Avengers. The actual comic Black Widow isn't really spandex, nor is it pleather, its more like a form of latex or stretch pvc.

I am NOT liking this Hollywood costume re-vamp. This is NOT a Spandex Unitard and is YET AGAIN another Hollywood let down. (head shaking) The new costume sucks. I guess women in Hollywood are afraid of spandex.

Yeah, looks like a kind of synthetic rubber to me! Booooooooo! I think 'ol Joss is going overboard with his feminist sensibilities...heaven forbid he should dress his female stars too sexy!!! A florida man was charged with hacking into celebrity email accounts in a computer invasion scheme that led to posting private and revealing info, including nude photos of actress Scarlett Johanssen on the internet federal authorities said wednesday. Yearlong investigation codenamed 'operation hackerazzi'. More than 50 victims including Mila Kunis, Christina Aguilera, Renee Olstead, amongst others. Victims agreed to have their identities made public eventually.

obviously not a TPOWIS member since nudity isnt allowed to be posted ...but now we know there are photos of her without clothes and then you all can continue to debate which catsuit/outfit accentuates or not a specific body part by actually seeing/sizing her up

@phillyflash Exactly. As I said, I love Joss's pro kick ass women in everything he does, but he is simply WAY too conservative. Plus honestly, I think he has some sort of anti-spandex vibe. It would seem he somehow doesn't like it or something... it's the only explanation I can think of. I mean look at all the hideous outfits the women of Buffy were in. There is even a part in the Halloween episode where Xander says "Too bulky, I prefer women in spandex". I was like kick ass, Xander not only is a cool guy now but Joss has hope! Then later in that same episode Xander said "I take back what I said, I completely renounce spandex" and I was like Xander sucks and Joss has no taste in women's fashion.
