my last post was exactly like the prepandemic days....over 400 photos and i could not find one facemask wearing person-packed beaches and as i showed people closely packed together....IT WAS UNREAL considering it was the very 1st volleyball tour event postpandemic.....well they certainly corrected for that here

AS YOU ALL KNOW WITH THE PANDEMIC ALMOST ALL OF MY SOURCES FOR BEACH VOLLEY HAVE BEEN SHUT DOWN...about my only steady source has been
Pacific Northwest Volleyball Photography on flikr covering aki beach in the seattle area...i've found some universities as well on smugmug...i basically only cover beach volley in leggings so that by itself narrows my sources even much more...anyways enjoy these...AND I NEVER POST REGULAR INDOORS VOLLEY because they never wear leggings BUT PNVB showed washington huskies versus standford [Washington vs. Stanford - March 26, 2021] with A COUPLE OF GALS WEARING CAPRI LEGGINGS and since i am focused in on leggings WELL NEEDLESS TO SAY THAT I AM ALL OVER THOSE photos so enjoy todays presentation:

when you see facemasks thats the one way to tell that the photos are newer; especially in organized team sports since that was immediately banned at the very beginning of the pandemic and one of the latest to get 'back-to-normal' sort of; as we are still dealing with this....obviously some of the ones shown today especially from smugmug are older....

we had a close call last evening; i did not see it live but it has been captured on camera as an asteroid-meteor with a large flash came within 9300 miles of us as was seen in my area:

my house is hurricane-proof including the roof- no wood up there-it can withstand winds of over 200 mph but isnt asteoid proof...in order to get to that level it has to be several hundred feet deep below the earth and nobody can/does build that deep.....preferably several hundred feet under the sea so it allows the asteroid all of that water to 'cushion the blow'

STILL QUITE HARD FOR ME TO FIND BEACH VOLLEYBALL & ESPECIALLY IN REGARDS TO WEARING LEGGINGS WHICH REALLY UPS THE STEAKS AS THATS MUCH LESS COMMON...NOW I DID FIND SOME INDOORS VOLLEY WEARING LEGGINGS; I BELIEVE ITS THE FIRST TIME EVER I SEE THAT SO ENJOY THIS PRESENTATION and note how last year and earlier this year colleges forced athletes to compete wearing masks.....earlier this year when vaccines were strictly for the elderly and first responders.....................................


commentary: I looked at most of the links i've posted here on this thread going back to 2010 looking for those european beach volley tours were i got a lot of my leggings ones and basically they either disappeared, or they no longer have photos or have copyrighted the pics...no wonder i cant find photos for the last couple of years...i know the pandemic had a lot to do with it but i simply cant get photos period....now i know...those links like the coop tour for example have migrated the photos elsewhere or they dont exist...so dont expect posts every couple of months like i used to do; in fact i was able to 'store' photos over the summer thats how many they were to show them in wintertime....WELL THOSE DAYS ARE GONE...

on most instagram pics the folks well back in the background are generally blurry well not on that 2nd picture they are not...they may be far back (80+feet away) but every face is quite so clearly recognizable that these these folks CANNOT testify in a courtroom that they were not there thats the power of high definition photography...no blurry anything

i actually went to their navy academy roster and checked out their heights theres just 3 gals listed at 5' 6-7-8" one gal each ALL the other ones are above 5' 9'' all the way to 6' 1"...so NO YOU ARE NOT GETTING cheated out of a woman so they are generally tall and as you can see by the photos have a little bit of girth to them.

edit 2/22 after a 24 to 48 hour outage...JUST DISCOVERED THAT THERE IS A ORGANIZATION FOR SNOW VOLLEYBALL since 2008...SO...that will come in handy in the wintertime since as you all know beach volleyball pics are non-existant other than some from australasia were its summer there right now...so enjoy a couple of pics and a match point short video....basically its the same as regular beach volley and as you can see they can move around quite easily in the snow my guess less tiresome than on heavy sand

more photos eventually...i stumbled upon this after i had posted,,,and yes they have a 'grounskeeper' with equipment UNLIKE beach volleyball to keep the snow spread out BASICALLY IT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE BEACH VOLLEYBALL FROM SEEING THE VIDEOS just a substituting sand for snow.

history: There is no single place where Snow Volleyball started. There are images from different places from around the world where players played volleyball on snow in different time epochs.
If you did an internet search for “Polar Bear Volleyball, 1922” you can a pictures from the US military playing on snow. Another picture from 1982 from St. Thomas University in Minnesota, USA shows college players in the snow playing during their spring break week. In 2020 the FIVB was organized a Snow Volleyball Festival during the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics at the Place de l’Europe in Lausanne, Switzerland to showcase the sport.

takes time and effort to search on smugmug versus instagram but the payoff is worth it if you want hi-def quality resolution photos from dedicated photographers as opposed to the amateurish instagram stuff of poor resolution for the most part...BEFORE THERE WAS INSTAGRAM I WAS ALREADY PULLING PHOTOS FROM SMUGMUG AND OTHER SIMILAR PORTALS...nowadays its just easier for me to get the instagram ones than have to work hard to get 'the good stuff' BUT depending on the topic and time i will try for the good stuff

as you all know by now i 'specialize in beach volleyball IN LEGGINGS' ...i am starting to see some regular indoors volleyball gals wearing leggings; still in its infancy but thats a good sign....that will add another dimension for me to explore as i am too concentrated in a very narrow space/slice of this vast category
