We created the first wetsuits for triathlon in 1984. At this time triathlon was in its infancy and the need for wetsuits specially made for triathlon was finally there.
AQUAMAN put together the first wetsuit which could provide warmth, freedom of movement, low water friction, and easy to take off. This was in 1986 when triathlon began to take off all over the world, the other companies started to make wetsuits for triathlon too but by that time AQUAMAN was technologically superior, and still is to this day.

wetsuits@triathlons was my very 1st initiation posting topic...this genre was my very earliest postings when i started as a newbie at a now defunct forum ~5 years before coming on board here...
NOTE: every other category i now post in; i would call all of them 'an acquired taste'......this category/topic was my 'alma matter' [/b]
i wont fully repeat it but when i initiated my forum posting career at a very competitive now extinct forum where 95+% of all sign-ups were gone/expulsed i chose this thread to begin to search for photos and eventually make a name for myself at that forum...long story short when i left that forum this topic was a top 8 to 10 most visited/viewed thread on that forum from basically a one page(2 handful of posts) totally ignored/mothballed thread topic when i started thats how i was able to survive and thrive over there...i expanded to other categories later on as i was successful and then transferred over here to TPOWIS--BUT in order to break in over there i concentrated to just working this topic ONLY FOR well over a YEAR; then i slowly evolved into leggings and several other categories/threads as i began to build my confidence while searching + developing links from scratch....i never ever forgot to post in this thread over there and as soon as i arrived here i created this triathlon thread since it was non existent here....and that commitment as you can see transferred over....17 pages and counting....
